MediSys In Negotiations to Acquire Medical Weight Loss Pioneers

Medisys Corporation to acquire medical pioneer Dr. Marvin Reinbergs Nutrition Medical Centers. The synergy between NMC and the MaxLife Center for Men™ is tremendous and will make an impact in The E.D. Industry.

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. November 16, 2005 -- MediSys Corporation (MDYS – OTC: Pink Sheets) today announced that is has entered into negotiations with Nutrition Medical Centers, Inc. (“NMC”), a medically-based weight loss program.

NMC was developed in the late 1980’s by medical pioneer Dr. Marvin Reinberg, an internist who recently completed his fourth Board Certification in Family Medicine, a medical achievement less then one percent of family practitioners in the United States has accomplished. Dr. Reinberg is known for designing “NMC” to assist his patients in achieving optimal health thru diet, nutrition and exercise. It was designed to be easily implemented for rapid and widespread deployment.

Dr. Reinberg commented on the pending transaction, “This is a wonderful opportunity to see my hard work and dreams for Nutrition Medical Centers come to fruition. MediSys has the right management team and vision to enable NMC to achieve its full potential. I’m extremely impressed with what MediSys has done with the MaxLife Center for Men™, which I’ve implemented in my own practice. They can build upon the work I’ve done with Nutritional Medical Centers.”

MediSys Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Joshua Konigsberg, remarked, “This acquisition would be a great fit for MediSys as our vision includes offering modules or systems that enable physicians to add revenue-generating services that enhance their patients’ health. We were recently in the process of developing a module like NMC. Now, all we have to do is integrate the ingenious system Dr. Reinberg built with some minor cosmetic changes. The synergy between NMC and the MaxLife Center for Men™ is tremendous and can make an impact in our industry. Many of the men that come to the MaxLife Center for Men™ are overweight and could benefit from the NMC program. Similarly, many men that would use the NMC program will have underlying diseases that could be addressed by the MaxLife Center for Men™. So, they feed on each other, thus enhancing not only the practice but, more importantly, the quality of care!”

No timeline has been established for closing the acquisition. Currently, the Company is performing due diligence and having NMC valued by a chartered financial analyst.
